What is charlotte pomerantz?

Charlotte Pomerantz was an American poet, author and educator born on May 26, 1928 in New York City. She earned a bachelor's degree from Hunter College and a master's degree from Columbia University. Pomerantz was a teacher and also wrote children's books, poetry and novels. Some of her most popular books include "The Piggy in the Puddle", "The Flying Bicycle", "The Magic Feather" and "Tickle Tum!". Her books have won several awards including the Christopher Award and the Parents' Choice Award. Pomerantz passed away on June 27, 2016 at the age of 88.
